We care about using images properly. Every photograph on this site comes from Unsplash and is used under the Unsplash License, which allows free use, including commercial use, without permission or attribution. We credit the photographers anyway, because they deserve it.
Our image policy
- We do not use images copied from Google Images or from other websites without permission.
- Photographs are illustrative. Images of food, kitchens and products are not photographs of the specific dishes or products described, and we do not use Amazon product images.
- We avoid graphic medical or surgical imagery.
- Images are resized, cropped and compressed for the web. Each image in our media library keeps its photographer credit in its caption and description.
